Who are we? Formed by original members of the Avant Garde from the 70s and 80s, the Alumni now includes friends who marched with other corps, and we’re thrilled to march with some of our children.
What is the cost to members? Registration is $65 first year to cover the uniform, then $25 for future years. Transportation, food and lodging are on your own, except the fee includes a banquet after the performance.
Where do the instruments come from? Many members have purchased their own instruments….we have sources for great deals on pre-owned items. When that’s not practical, we can borrow from other corps.
Can the Alumni perform at other events? No. Our members travel from all over, some march with other corps, and everyone has a life. We refuse to perform if we can’t exceed expectations….every performance will blow you away!
Where can I find the sheet music? They are on this site under the Performer Info tab, and in the Google Drive folders provided by J Crawford
Where can I stay in Saratoga? One of our members has arranged discounts at the Holiday Inn across the street from our winter rehearsal site. See the Travel Arrangements page for details.
